
Deutsche Börse expands Xpect indexes to England and Wales

Due to the UK’s increased interest in longevity risk transfer, Frankfurt-based Deutsche Börse has expanded its Xpect group of indexes to include England and Wales, in addition to its existing offerings based on the Dutch and German populations.
As with Deutsche Börse’s other Xpect offerings, its UK indexes will be based on general population data, in this case from the UK Office of National Statistics (ONS). According to Jurgen Enders, a consultant at Deutsche Börse’s market data and analytics
