Investec rolls latest offerings off production line

Investec Structured Products has launched its seventh suite of structured trades comprising accumulation, investment and income plans all linked to the FTSE 100 index. In the income category is the five-year FTSE 100 and RPI Combination Plan 6, which offers 20 quarterly payments equivalent to 2% of the initial investment, and full indexation to the Retail Prices Index (RPI). Forty percent of the initial investment is placed in term deposits, which are guaranteed at maturity. A maturity payment equal to 100% of the initial investment is provided, as long as the FTSE 100 does not halve at any point during the term.

In the accumulation category, the Guaranteed 3-year FTSE 100 Plan 7 and its five-year version both guarantee capital at maturity. The three-year product offers two options, one delivering 300% of the index performance over the term, subject to a maximum return of 25%, and the other providing the greater of 3% minimum return, or 100% of index growth over the term subject to a maximum of 25%.

The five-year plan also offers two options, with option one providing 500% of index growth over the term
