ABN Amro to boost US principal-protected offering

ABN Amro is stepping up its product offering in the US in a bid to boost the position of principal-protected notes (PPNs) in the market. The Dutch bank has partnered with a new distributor and is increasing both the pace and volume of its issuance. "On the issuer side, no-one has brought a consistent offering each month," says Brian Jones, the bank's New York-based head of private investor products in North America.
