Citibank announces protected investment accounts in China

Citibank has launched three principal-protected structured investment accounts in China. The products consist of a one-year USD-denominated deposit linked to a basket of global retailing stocks, a two-year USD-denominated deposit linked to global stock indexes, and a one-year RMB-denominated deposit linked to Hong Kong's Hang Seng index.

The one-year USD-denominated deposit is linked to five retail stocks in the US, Europe and Japan. The stocks are: Wal-Mart Stores, Lawson, Seven & I Holdings
