Basel Committee defends adjustments to Basel III as calibration decisions loom

Regulators describe difficulties ahead as they prepare for Basel III calibration and transition decisions in September

The Basel Committee on Banking Supervision has defended the changes that were made to its capital and liquidity reform proposals on July 26, saying regulators have not given in to intensive industry lobbying.
