The KRI Programme

An organisation should be continuously executing and utilising the KRI programme. It is the culmination of a well-designed framework and a well-executed project. In this chapter, we will cover the implementation and management of the KRIs as a continuous process. The continuous execution of the processes laid out in the KRI framework comprises the KRI programme. This will include reassessment of the data quality, KRI effectiveness, relevance and actionability, with each process being core to the KRI programme. The chapter will also discuss approaches to identifying KRIs through iteration and from different organisational perspectives, and what makes a good KRI and how to be effective when evaluating a KRI.

IDENTIFY AND ASSESS KRIS

There are a few important considerations when embarking on the identification of KRIs. First, they are dynamic by nature, so the process to identify, implement and use KRIs should not be linear, nor should it only be carried out once.
