Europe equity ETFs suffer big outflows

Investors are pouring money into North American equities through exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and fleeing from those tracking European stocks.

Year to date (until the end of April), there have been $20.2 billion inflows into ETFs tracking US equity indexes, while ETFs tracking European equity indexes have experienced $5.8 billion in outflows, according to an ETF Global Insight report.
