Xiaojiao Tong received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in mathematics from Wuhan University, Wuhan, China, and the Ph.D. degree in applied mathematics from Hunan University, Hunan, China, in 1983, 1986, and 2000, respectively. She is currently a Professor at Xiangtan University, Hunan, China. Her research interests include nonlinear optimization and applications, stochastic programming and risk management, power system operation and planning in renewable energy systems.
