Geopolitical risk for leaders
About the course
New course and format - 4 hours of training over two days
With geopolitical events impacting everything from supply chains and funding costs to customer behaviour and operational resilience, organisations must understand and manage the implications for investment decisions, risk profiles and more.
This course will equip participants with the tools to move from awareness to action by assessing geopolitical exposures, evaluating vulnerabilities and identifying potential consequences across the organisation.
Sessions will explore the forces reshaping the global environment, including the weaponisation of trade, finance and technology, and the intersection between geopolitics and regulation, while demonstrating how organisations can effectively embed geopolitical considerations into enterprise risk management and strategic planning.
Real-world case studies will analyse corporate impact, specifically discussing geopolitics as an “upstream risk,” and prepare participants to reshape their current oversight framework by understanding strategies for risk mitigation and the expectations of regulators, investors and other stakeholders.
