Advent eyes expanded role in hedge fund software market

“We believe the next five to 10 years will be great for the hedge fund industry,” declares Peter Hess, president of Advent Software. “It’s a great way to invest.” As more controls are put in place on the industry the perceived risk of investing with hedge funds will disappear over time, says Hess. “Assets under management are almost back to where they were at their peak of almost $2 trillion. I’d say the forecast for hedge funds looks good,” he notes.
