As European banks seek to diversify from US cloud hyperscalers, a supermarket group is becoming an unlikely new supplier

Could a European cloud provider soon be cleaning up on aisle three? EU banks that fear overdependence on US behemoths amid trade war concerns are shopping for their cloud services among European providers – and some are finding a German supermarket subsidiary fits the bill.
