Sophis sells majority stake to Advent

Risk management solutions provider Sophis has sold a majority stake to Advent International, a private equity investor, using the proceeds of a leveraged buyout.

Sophis founder and CEO Herve Vinciguerra will retain a stake in Sophis described by the company as "significant", and has a place on its supervisory board.
