Creditex and CreditTrade merge
Banks welcome the complementary merger of credit derivatives brokers, which brings together Creditex's electronic expertise and CreditTrade's dominance in voice broking
The merger of credit derivatives inter-dealer brokers Creditex and CreditTrade was met with open arms by dealers when it was announced in late July. Bringing together Creditex's expertise in electronic broking and CreditTrade's voice broking business, the move will create a hybrid brokerage business to challenge larger rivals GFI Group and Icap.
