BT kits out Mitsui's Singapore trading floor
Mitsui Energy Risk Management has signed a deal with BT to develop the trading technology infrastructure in its Singapore office. As part of the deal Mitsui's energy traders will be equipped with ITS.Netrix, BT's multimedia desktop, which enables what BT calls converged communication across the trading room.
"Mitsui will benefit from an advanced trading floor strategy that will enable them to meet the growing demands of today's trader," says Phil Mottram, MD at BT Financial Services.
