GFI buys up Trayport

GFI Group, the New York-based interdealer broker specialising in OTC derivatives, has acquired Trayport, a provider of real-time electronic trading software for brokers, exchanges and traders in the commodities, fixed income, currencies and equities markets. Trayport's software, headlined by its flagship GlobalVision platform, is installed on around 10,000 trading screens worldwide.
