Agence France Trésor selects Ubitrade’s Tradix system

Tradix was selected after a recent review of the agency’s information systems designed to reduce operational risk and the number of software applications in use. Tradix will be used for all areas except cash management.

The upgrade, which has been named Système d’Information France Trésor (SIFT), will take two years to complete, starting with market transactions. Risk control, back-office services and accounting will follow.

AFT is responsible for the French government’s debt management as well as having jurisdiction over the state’s treasury management.

The Tradix system is currently used by the Belgian Treasury as well as Cades, the French social security debt repayment fund and BNP Paribas, the French banking group.
