FSSCC plans exercise to test flu-pandemic preparedness

George Hender, chairman of the Financial Services Sector Coordinating Council for Critical Infrastructure Protection and Homeland Security (FSSCC), said in an interview with OpRisk&Compliance that the pandemic flu scenario was specifically chosen for this exercise because of the variety of elements that could be worked into the programme.
The FSSCC is working with the US Treasury, the Financial and Banking Information Infrastructure Committee and the Securities Industry and Financial Management
