SIA releases BCP critical infrastructure guidelines

WASHINGTON , DC - The Securities Industry Association (SIA) business continuity planning (BCP) committee has released critical infrastructure guidelines for its member firms to better understand the resiliency of their critical infrastructure service providers.

The guidelines adise how firms can identify their critical infrastructure utilities and how to engage with them to prepare for potential service disruptions. They give detailed recommendations of how financial institutions can enter into partnerships with federal, state and private organisations that provide direct and indirect support to the financial community.

The recommendations include model
