The outages started at 9.35am EST and were "wholly resolved" by 11.00am, according to the spokesperson. Bloomberg reported, though, that issues were not resolved until 11.05am. The Nasdaq Trader website states that a network switch failure affected in-bound routed orders on January 20, and that Nasdaq had resolved all issues for trading that day.

Nasdaq’s spokesperson also says: "A network switch failed at 9.35am, and while there was immediate recovery, it resulted in intermittent quote
