BCP in India challenges – Firms with back-office operations or call centres in parts of India faced business continuity challenges at the end of July, with massive flooding caused by up to 37 inches of rainfall closing many businesses in Mumbai. India Daily said more than 48,000 people were evacuated from the area, and around 1,000 had been killed.
