SIA sets industry-wide BC test date

WASHINGTON, DC - Securities industry trade groups have set October 14 for this year's annual business continuity test in which the securities industry will assess their ability to operate through a significant emergency using their back-up facilities.

The Securities Industry Association (SIA), the Bond Market Association (TBMA), the Futures Industry Association (FIA) and Financial Information Forum (FIF) will lead the industry-wide test.

The test will exercise and verify the ability of firms
