Power outage hits LSE's Proquote data centre

The March 1 power outage at Proquote's primary data centre caused all Proquote services to go down between 10am and 2pm, an LSE spokesperson confirms. According to a statement by the LSE, Proquote's databases became corrupted, and power was not restored to others until after the outage. As a result, it took "a prolonged time to restore services".

Some services were restored after 2pm to firms using Proquote on an installed basis to access the LSE's Sets trading platform and Retail Service
