UK FSA presses ahead with BCP programme

The FSA conducted the original survey in 2002 on just a dozen or so firms. The results of that survey formed a ‘Dear CEO’ letter that was released, and the FSA asked other firms to benchmark themselves against the best-practice concepts contained in the document.

John Milne, head of business-continuity planning at major financial institutions at the FSA, said at an April British Bankers Association event that he intends to essentially repeat the process, by asking firms to fill out a survey and
