GFI unveils derivatives e-trading platform

Inter-dealer broker GFI Group has launched CreditMatch, an electronic trading platform for its US clients to trade credit derivatives. CreditMatch gives dealers the ability to trade both the Dow Jones Investment Grade and Dow Jones High Volatility indices electronically for the first time.

The platform will be consistent with GFI’s hybrid brokerage model which allows dealers to trade electronically or through a brokerage desk. Several investment banks, including Merrill Lynch, Lehman Brothers
