BoNY Year 2000 effort: The Bank of New York (BoNY) is ready for corporate and institutional customers to begin testing their Year 2000-compliant computer interfaces with its products and services, says a bank spokesperson.

An isolated future-dated environment will allow clients to perform various levels of testing, including proxy testing, point-to-point testing and end-to-end testing, adds the bank spokesperson.

BoNY has been working to ensure its Year 2000 compliance since September of 1996. It
