CIC Develops Global Unit To Oversee Market, Credit And Operational Risks


COMPAGNIE Financiere de CIC et de l'Union Europeene (CIC), France's fourth largest bank, has created a general risk control unit to help harmonize its separate risk groups and improve its ability to monitor risks across the institution.

As part of the risk unit's efforts to consolidate trade data in a central location, CIC is installing the Opus trading and risk management application suite from Renaissance Software.
