Morgan Stanley Enters 'Phase Two' Of Global Risk Strategy

Morgan Stanley is in the midst of an ambitious global risk management project that aims to allow its market risk group to monitor the company's consolidated exposures in real-time and disseminate the data via an internal Internet system.

Officials at the New York-based trading house say they are now testing the second phase of its plans. This involves using Internet-based technology to distribute its market risk reports globally.
