An analysis by Operational Risk & Regulation of the employment histories of operational risk professionals at 37 global banks and asset management firms shows that op risk departments are spreading the net wider than ever before. The survey reveals a widening array of sources for op risk managers, with experts being drawn from other risk areas, such as credit and market risk, as well as functional areas such as portfolio management, operations, and information security.
