Engage with crypto-currencies, banks told


Bitcoin and crypto-currency communities are being "killed" by banks not allowing them to open accounts, one legal expert has warned.

Carol Van Cleef, Washington, DC-based partner and co-chair of the global payments practice at law firm Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, suggests the banking industry in the US has done as much as regulators to limit the expansion of crypto-currencies by denying services to the companies offering crypto-currency exchange.
