Insurers have been warned of the need to strengthen their data security measures in the wake of new data protection laws that are coming into force across the Asia-Pacific region.
Hong Kong strengthened its data protection legislation last year, while Singapore and Malaysia have also implemented new data protection requirements this year. Australia and New Zealand are also expanding their data
