Banks still battling with sales-driven culture, survey finds


A sales-driven, front-office culture remains the top challenge for banks, according to EY's annual risk management survey released yesterday. The survey, released in conjunction with the Institute of International Finance (IIF), found that 59% of respondents felt a top challenge for strengthening the risk culture in their institution was finding a balance between a sales-driven, front-office culture and risk-focused culture.
