Nordea rules out AMA

Another institution rejects AMA because of lack of clarity in requirements

Nordea has no plans to develop an advanced measurement approach (AMA) model for its operational risk capital, says its head of group operational risk and compliance. Stockholm-based Anders Meinert Jørgensen says the future requirements for the AMA are not clear and that regulators find the current models within banks too complicated and too different.
