Adoboli guilty of fraud

Verdict returned on one of six charges - other verdicts expected later today

Kweku Adoboli, the accused UBS rogue trader, was convicted on one of six charges by a jury in London's Southwark Crown Court this morning. During his two-month trial, Adoboli faced two charges of fraud by abuse of position – one covering the October 2008–June 2011 period, the other covering June-September 2011 – and four charges of false accounting, two for each period.
