Adoboli guilty of fraud


Kweku Adoboli, the accused UBS rogue trader, was convicted on one of six charges by a jury in London's Southwark Crown Court this morning. During his two-month trial, Adoboli faced two charges of fraud by abuse of position – one covering the October 2008–June 2011 period, the other covering June-September 2011 – and four charges of false accounting, two for each period.

This morning's unanimous guilty verdict follows almost a week of deliberation by the jury, which retired on November 14
