Knight Capital creates CRO role after $440 million losses

Knight Capital has promoted Brian Strauss to the newly created position of chief risk officer. The role has global responsibility for credit, market and operational risk management.

Strauss will report to executive vice-president and chief financial officer Steven Bisgay.
