The keynote speaker at the OpRisk Asia conference in Singapore on June 27 and 28, the Bank of Japan’s Mitsutoshi Adachi, warned that inconsistencies in implementing the Basel advanced measurement approach (AMA) for operational risk capital could undermine the intent of the Basel rules.
