‘Clients, products and business practices’ events continue to make up the majority of top five losses each month. However, over the past two years, a growing number of internal fraud losses have begun to appear, including one at New China Life Insurance in March this year.

As was the case last month, March’s top four loss amounts involved a single settlement with multiple financial firms. JP Morgan Chase, UBS, Depfa Bank and Deutsche Bank reached a $602
