Gordon appointed as head of risk management at RBNZ

Steve Gordon has been appointed as head of risk management and assurance at the New Zealand central bank, the Reserve Bank of New Zealand (RBNZ), effective from November 28.

Gordon will report directly to governor Alan Bollard, and replaces Steve Anderson, who is retiring. He will be responsible for ensuring the risk management and assurance unit identifies, monitors and manages RBNZ's financial, operational and reputational risks in line with best practice.
