Amir-Mokri appointed to US Treasury
Cyrus Amir-Mokri is the new assistant secretary for financial institutions at the US Treasury.
Cyrus Amir-Mokri has been appointed as assistant secretary for financial institutions at the US Department of the Treasury, after confirmation from the US Senate on October 31.
Amir-Mokri was nominated for the role by US President Barack Obama in September.
He will be responsible for the development and co-ordination of the Treasury's policies on issues affecting financial institutions. As there
