The Hartford appoints Rupp as chief risk officer

Fortune 500 group The Hartford appoints new executive vice-president and chief risk officer

Robert Rupp has been appointed as chief risk officer at Connecticut-based Fortune 500 financial services group The Hartford. He starts at the company on November 2, and replaces Lizabeth Zlatkus, who retires on October 31.

Rupp will report to the company's chair and chief executive officer Liam McGee, and will be responsible for developing The Hartford's enterprise risk management practices.
