
Basel Committee's Sigor to undertake review of operational risk regulatory framework

The Basel Committee on Banking Supervision's operational risk sub-group of the standards implementation group (Sigor) will conduct a review of the operational risk capital framework over the coming months.
The decision was taken at a Sigor meeting in Frankfurt on October 6, as flagged by Operational Risk & Regulation last month. According to industry sources who attended the meeting, the review will be wide-ranging, and will focus mostly on the basic indicator and standardised approaches. Topics
