
Six Securities Services names Wieland as clearing chief

Six Securities Services has appointed Urs Wieland as chief executive of the company’s clearing arm, Six x-clear.
Wieland moves from his post as head of operational risk management and deputy CEO of Six x-clear to take over the role of CEO from Marco Strimer, who leaves the role after six years.
Wieland joined Six Securities Services in 1996 and became head of operational risk management in 2003. He will not be replaced as head of op risk.
