OpRisk Asia: the perils of prosperity

While Asia has avoided the worst effects of the global financial crisis, that has not meant a lack of interest in operational risk in the region – not least in the aftermath of the disastrous earthquake and tsunami that struck Japan in March this year. Business continuity and disaster recovery have been topics of interest ever since, including at the OpRisk Asia conference in Singapore on June 28–29.
