Information management problems hurting institutions, says study

Document management poses serious problems to financial institutions, according to a report by InfoRiskAwareness, an independent body focused on the promotion of information risk management.

InfoRiskAwareness carried out a survey of 200 chief information officers and IT directors in the UK; some 30% of the financial services respondents cited "document and content management" as the greatest issue they face on a day-to-day basis. Significant proportions of respondents also cited email overload
