Middle-office managers win as compliance focus pushes up pay


ComPeer, a specialist benchmarking and wealth management research group, has released the findings of its latest six-monthly remuneration and benefits survey. It says wealth managers could miss out on any ‘real' pay increases this year. It also finds that, while senior portfolio managers remain the highest paid in the wealth management sector, middle-office heads, who are responsible for meeting standards in client service and satisfaction, have seen the biggest salary increase.
