Responses to EU remuneration paper urge restraint

Responses to the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision’s report, Range of methodologies for risk and performance alignment of remuneration, which was issued for consultation in October 2010, agree remuneration practices contributed to the recent financial crisis. But they do not concede strategies for more guidance, rules or disclosure are the answer.
