UK FRC consultation inaugurates year focused on governance and risk

The UK Financial Reporting Council has two risk governance projects underway, while the European Commission is prepping two papers of its own

A new UK Financial Reporting Council (FRC) consultation on company reports and audit kicks off a year in which there will be heavy focus on risk management and governance issues by regulators.

The new FRC consultation, 'Effective Company Stewardship: Enhancing Corporate Reporting and Audit', focuses on improving the relationship between auditors and companies as well as improving risk governance
