Separate trials set for Rajaratnam, Chiesi after FBI insider-trading crackdown

Hedge fund arrests lead to trials for pair from Galleon and New Castle

Dates have been set for the separate trials of two defendants facing criminal charges off the back of last year's sweep of arrests for insider trading.

It was originally thought Raj Rajaratnam and Danielle Chiesi of hedge funds Galleon Management and New Castle Funds, respectively, would go on trial together, on charges of conspiracy and securities fraud. Both are accused of using illegal tips
