
Hacker extradited to US for $9 million RBD Worldpay fraud
ATLANTA – The alleged leader of a 2008 cyber-attack on RBS WorldPay systems has been extradited to the US to face charges of fraud and identity theft.
Arraigned in a federal court in Atlanta, Georgia in mid-August, Sergei Tsurikov is accused of masterminding an attack in which $9 million was taken from RBS WorldPay systems.
Tsurikov, of Tallinn, Estonia, is accused of cloning 44 payroll debit cards, which where then distributed worldwide. Over the course of 12 hours, Tsurikov’s gang allegedly
