Cebs updates operational risk market guidelines

A second consultation has been launched by the Committee of European Banking Supervisors (Cebs) on its guidelines for the management of operational risk in market-related activities.

The original guidance was issued for consultation at the end of 2009, and was the first by Cebs to have a market-orientated op risk focus. The paper was structured in three parts: governance mechanisms, internal controls and internal reporting systems, and the revised paper maintains that system.
