Banks call for new consultation on Cebs op risk guidelines

UK-based banks have called on the Committee of European Banking Supervisors (Cebs) to hold another consultation on its draft new guidelines on operational risk following strong concerns about some of the proposals.
The British Bankers' Association (BBA) says more discussion is needed to clarify the guidelines outlined in Cebs’ consultation paper (CP35). “There is much to be welcomed in this paper. However, much is equally in need of clarification. Therefore, we would urge Cebs to issue
